observation on the road

When driving with your learner driver its so important to make sure they are aware of looking at what your looking at. By this I mean not just looking at the car in front of you but 100 meters ahead or more. The learner driver is obviously nervous, so talk to them about what your looking at and what you would do . For example if there is a car is about 100 meters ahead of you and there brake lights go on, then they should be starting to brake softly and applying more pressure as the distance between them and the car ahead gets smaller. If you can, start asking them things like is the next set of traffic lights green ? Can we change lanes ?

Making them aware of there surroundings back and front…..
